About the home
What is a Board & Care home?+
A Board & Care — formally called a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly, or RCFE — is a licensed home-based alternative to large assisted-living communities. Abundant Peace is licensed for up to six residents, which means much more personal attention and a real family atmosphere.
Where are you located?+
We're at 19 Synthia Court in Sacramento, CA 95823 — a quiet residential street. Tours are private and by appointment.
Are you licensed?+
Yes. Abundant Peace is a California-licensed RCFE, license #342701013, licensed since November 5, 2021.
Care & services
What levels of care do you provide?+
We provide non-medical assisted living: help with bathing, dressing, mobility, medication reminders, meals, housekeeping, and 24-hour supervision. Residents typically range from mostly independent to needing hands-on daily support.
Do you provide memory or dementia care?+
Yes — we care for residents with early- to moderate-stage memory loss. Our small setting, consistent caregivers, and predictable routines are especially helpful for residents with dementia. See our Memory Care page for details.
Do you accept hospice residents?+
Yes. We work alongside licensed hospice agencies so residents can remain comfortably in their home for as long as possible.
How do meals work?+
Three home-cooked meals plus snacks each day, served family-style from our real kitchen. We adjust for dietary needs and preferences.
Is staff on site 24/7?+
Yes — direct-care staff are on site around the clock, as required for any licensed California RCFE.
Rooms, pricing & tours
What are the rooms like?+
We offer both private and shared bedrooms, arranged with warm, residential furnishings — never clinical. Common spaces include the living room, dining room, and patio.
What does it cost?+
Monthly rates depend on the room type (shared vs. private) and the level of care needed. Because pricing changes with availability, we share it directly with families rather than posting outdated numbers online.
Can we tour before deciding?+
Absolutely. In-person tours are the best way to feel the home. Send us a message and we'll follow up to book a private visit.
